ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The 2010 Conference USA Champion UCF football team, winners of the 52nd AutoZone Liberty Bowl over Georgia on Dec. 31 in Memphis, will be honored at the Saturday, Jan. 22 UCF men's basketball game vs. the Rice Owls.
The Rice basketball game tips off at 7 p.m. at the UCF Arena. One of only seven undefeated teams in the country, the Knights (14-0, 1-0 Conference USA) are ranked 18th in the latest ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll and No. 19 in the Associated Press Top 25. Head coach Donnie Jones' squad improved to 10-0 at home with a 65-58 league victory over Marshall Wednesday. The contest was played in front of 9,094 fans, the third-largest crowd in school history.
The best way to ensure you are there for the game against Rice, and UCF's seven remaining home games, is to purchase a special UCF-Conference USA ticket pack. The pack allows fans to grab a lower level ticket to watch the Knights play their C-USA home games at a significant savings over single-game prices. Packages are also available for upper level seating. To order the pack today, visit UCFAthletics.com or call (407) UCF-1000.
The football team will be honored at halftime of the game vs. Rice, with a video salute and on-court recognition of the full team.
