ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Off to an 11-0 start under new head coach Donnie Jones, the UCF men's basketball team is now ranked in both national polls. One of just eight undefeated teams in the country, the Knights moved to 19th Monday in the Associated Press Top 25, and entered the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll at No. 21.

The Knights will play a pair of games this week, both at the UCF Arena as part of the UCF Holiday Classic presented by EA Sports. UCF will open the event Wednesday at 7 p.m. against Furman. The squad will conclude the two-day tournament Thursday with a contest against either Northeastern or Princeton.

Last Monday, UCF entered the Associated Press Top 25 for the first time in school history at No. 24. Jones' team played just one game last week, but picked up an impressive 64-59 victory at UMass Wednesday.

UCF is the lone program from Florida ranked in either poll. The team's 11-game winning streak to open the year is the longest at UCF since the 2003-04 squad won 14-straight contests.

After this week's tournament, the Knights will open C-USA play on Jan. 5 versus visiting Marshall. A special UCF-Conference USA ticket pack is now available. The pack allows fans to grab a lower level ticket to watch the Knights play their eight C-USA home games for only $96, offering a $24 savings over single-game prices. Packages are also available for $80 for upper level seating. To order the pack today, visit UCFAthletics.com or call (407) UCF-1000.
