ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With his team 11-0 and ranked 24th in the country, new UCF men's basketball head coach Donnie Jones will talk about the Knights' incredible start when the Donnie Jones Radio Show debuts Monday at the Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill in Waterford Lakes. UCF fans are invited to listen to the show, which airs on the UCF Sports Network from IMG College and 740 The Game in Orlando, in person starting at 7 p.m.
Fans attending the show will have the opportunity to interact with Jones. Food and drink specials will be available throughout the hour-long program, which is hosted by UCF radio play-by-play voice Marc Daniels.
On Monday, fans attending the show will chance to win several pairs of tickets to the UCF Holiday Classic presented by EA Sports. The Knights will open the event on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the UCF Arena against visiting Furman. UCF will conclude the two-day tournament Thursday with a contest against either Northeastern or Princeton.
Jones, who was named UCF's head coach in late March, has guided the Knights into the national rankings for the first time in school history. UCF is one of just eight remaining undefeated teams in the country. The Knights have posted impressive victories over No. 16 Florida and Miami, and most recently defeated host UMass last Wednesday.
Jones' radio show will air each Monday through the end of the regular season.
A special UCF-Conference USA ticket pack is now available. The pack allows fans to grab a lower level ticket to watch the Knights play their eight C-USA home games for only $96, offering a $24 savings over single-game prices. Packages are also available for $80 for upper level seating. To order the pack today, visit UCFAthletics.com or call (407) UCF-1000.
