ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The No. 24 UCF football team has won 10 games so far this year and now boasts 10 college graduates on its roster. The 10-3 Knights, who face Georgia on Dec. 31 in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, are proud to announce that Emery Allen and Khymest Williams graduated this past weekend at the University's winter ceremony.

Allen and Williams will join eight of their active teammates (Chance Henderson, Cliff McCray, Bruce Miller, Jamar Newsome, Jah Reid, Wes Tunuufi Sauvao, Brian Watters and David Williams) in the honored status of college graduates. The eight active Knights who played in 2010 while either working towards a master's or second bachelor's degree tied for the fourth-most in the nation behind only Boston College, Auburn and Tennessee.

Allen earned his degree in interdisciplinary studies with a minor in criminal justice and Williams has earned a degree in radio and television with a minor in film-cinema studies.

It has been a typically busy week for positive academic news surrounding head coach George O'Leary's program. Last Tuesday, Higher Ed Watch released its annual Academic Bowl Championship Series Rankings and placed the Knights sixth in the nation. The Higher Ed Watch rankings are based upon team graduation rates broken down by several variables and its APR (Academic Progress Rate) and were led by Stanford.

No. 24 UCF will go "Bowlin' on Beale Street" when the Knights face Georgia on Dec. 31 in Memphis in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl. For all of the latest bowl game ticket and travel information, head to UCFBowl.com or call the UCF Athletics ticket office at (407) 823-1000.
