ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Our No. 25 Knights have a truly special opportunity this Saturday to make history at Bright House Networks Stadium, and the team needs you! Less than 6,000 seats remain for when UCF faces the SMU Mustangs in the 2010 Conference USA Championship Game this Saturday, Dec. 4 at noon at UCF's on-campus home.

The nation's eyes will be upon the University of Central Florida for this historic occasion. In addition to being a special opportunity for the Knights to reach the 10-win plateau, you can help make attending the game a special opportunity for underprivileged local residents. UCF is asking all of its alumni, donors, fans and supporters to purchase an additional two or more tickets to Saturday's game and pack Bright House Networks Stadium with community residents in need. Tickets will be distributed through:

? The United Way
? The Orlando Magic's community group, including:
o Metro Orlando Urban league
o Valencia's Take Stock in Children
o Boys and Girls Club of Downtown Orlando
o New Image Youth Center
o Parramore Kids Zone

The Knights are ranked No. 25 in this week's USA Today Coaches Poll on the strength of a 9-3 record in 2010 and 7-1 mark in C-USA play. In addition to a team which tops C-USA in four of the five major defensive categories (rushing, scoring, total and passing efficiency defense), the Knights have excelled as individuals as well. True freshman quarterback Jeff Godfrey stands eighth in the nation with his 164.79 efficiency rating and stands in the company of America's elite signal callers in this regard. Quincy McDuffie is third nationally in kickoff returns and, on the heels of a strong showing at Memphis, Josh Robinson has moved up to fifth nationally in punt returns.
