ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The 24th-ranked Knights returned to work on Tuesday, Dec. 14 and are holding a series of practices leading up to the holiday break and team departure for Memphis on Monday, Dec. 27. The 52nd Annual AutoZone Liberty Bowl vs. the Georgia Bulldogs is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 31, at 3:30 p.m. EST from Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.

? AutoZone Liberty Bowl ticket requests made through UCF Athletics have all been assigned and shipped. These packages were sent via UPS to the return address listed on each request with a scheduled delivery date by Friday, Dec. 17. If tickets were also ordered for the AutoZone Liberty Bowl's Pre-Game Buffet & Tailgate, those are included with the UPS delivery.

? There is still time for donors, alumni, fans and supporters to make a difference and donate a ticket or two for the AutoZone Liberty Bowl to families staying at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Not only will you being doing a great service, you will be adding to the Knights faithful cheering on UCF in the stands. On top of the ticket, we'll provide them with a Knights t-shirt, black and gold beads and pom-poms. Donations will be distributed through the Liberty Bowl committee in the greater Memphis area.

? Between now and the bowl game, get updated information on UCF Knights football at UCFBowl.com, the team's official postseason website.

? Join the Knights as they go "Bowlin' on Beal Street", with the UCF AlumKnight Out party, 5-7 p.m. on Dec. 30, at the famous Silky O'Sullivan's (183 Beale Street). Coach O'Leary will hold his live weekly radio show from Silky's starting at 5 p.m. CST.

? Fans and media looking for in-depth information on the Knights as they get set to face Georgia in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl Dec. 31 now have access to the 2010 UCF football bowl guide. The Knights are ranked No. 24 in this final regular season USA Today Coaches Poll and No. 25 in the final BCS standings on the strength of a 10-3 record in 2010 and their second C-USA championship in four years. In addition to a team which tops C-USA in four of the five major defensive categories (rushing, scoring, total and passing efficiency defense), the Knights have excelled as individuals as well. True freshman quarterback Jeff Godfrey stands eighth in the nation with his 165.28 efficiency rating and stands in the company of America's elite signal callers in this regard. Quincy McDuffie is second nationally in kickoff returns and Josh Robinson has moved up to fifth nationally in punt returns.
