ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF's impressive 7-0 start is getting some national attention. FoxSports.com college basketball writer Jeff Goodman has placed the Knights at No. 25 in his top-25 poll.

Head coach Donnie Jones' team picked up a pair of wins this past week, most notably a 57-54 triumph over 16th-ranked Florida at the Amway Center in downtown Orlando. In 2010-11, the Knights have already recorded victories over BIG EAST and Southeastern Conference programs.

The 7-0 start is the best at UCF since the program moved to the Division I ranks in 1980s.

The Knights boast a +27.4 scoring margin and feature an offense that is shooting 52.5 percent overall and averaging 80.0 points per game. On the other end, UCF's defense is holding foes to only 52.6 points on 34.3 percent shooting.

UCF will return to action on Saturday, hosting Bethune-Cookman at 5 p.m. at the UCF Arena.
