ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Another eventful journey awaits the UCF baseball team in 2011 as it released its regular-season schedule Tuesday. The Knights will host 32 games on campus in the spring with Opening Day slated for Friday, Feb. 18, against Siena.

Season ticket information will be made available next week.

Backed by one of the most exciting lineups in the nation and its second-straight top-20 recruiting class, UCF is coming off a 33-22 season under head coach Terry Rooney, who is in his third year with the Black and Gold in 2010-11. The Knights also set a school record for wins in Conference USA a year ago, as the league continues to rank as one of the top five baseball conferences in the country.

And in 2011, UCF will look to build on its momentum when it opens the regular season at home with a three-game set against Siena Feb. 18-20. It also will host a three-game non-conference series with Dartmouth, Wagner and Columbia.

Other noteworthy games at the baseball complex include meetings with Boston College, USF, Stetson, Florida Atlantic, Florida, Bethune-Cookman, Maine and Mount St. Mary's. The C-USA schedule will have Southern Miss, Tulane, Houston and Marshall invade Orlando this season.

On the road, the Knights will compete in their first in-season tournament since 2001 when it heads to the South Alabama Classic Feb. 25-27 where they will take on the host Jaguars, Southeastern Louisiana and Alabama. Meanwhile, UCF looks forward to non-conference road tilts against Bethune-Cookman, Miami, Stetson, Florida, Florida Atlantic and South Florida as well.

And along with traveling to Rice, East Carolina, Memphis and UAB for the C-USA season, UCF's bye weekend will be a trip to Tallahassee May 6-8 to face off with Florida State. It marks the first time since the 2004 NCAA Regionals that the Knights and Seminoles tangle on the diamond. FSU will make the return weekend trip to UCF in 2012.
