ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF student admission is FREE to the upcoming Conference USA Championship Game at Bright House Networks Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 4. Students can witness the biggest game of the year by showing up to the game with a valid UCF student ID. ID cards will be swiped at the gate prior to FREE entry for seating in the UCF student section.

The kickoff against the West Division champions, SMU, is scheduled for 12 p.m. UCF's student government association will also be hosting its celebrated pre-game tailgate from right outside the stadium, on the north lawn of IOA Plaza.

UCF will be looking to shatter its C-USA student attendance record for the championship game with 10,276 showing up to the event in 2007. A total of 10,158 students were reported to have attended last year's championship game at East Carolina.

The Knights are ranked No. 25 in this week's USA Today Coaches Poll on the strength of a 9-3 record in 2010 and 7-1 mark in C-USA play. In addition to a team which tops C-USA in four of the five major defensive categories (rushing, scoring, total and passing efficiency defense), the Knights have excelled as individuals as well. True freshman quarterback Jeff Godfrey stands eighth in the nation with his 164.79 efficiency rating and stands in the company of America's elite signal callers in this regard. Quincy McDuffie is third nationally in kickoff returns and, on the heels of a strong showing at Memphis, Josh Robinson has moved up to fifth nationally in punt returns.
