ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - On Monday morning, the UCF men's basketball team will begin a busy, but exciting week. The Knights have a pair of contests this week, including a showdown with No. 14 Florida Wednesday at the new Amway Center in downtown Orlando.

After his team improved to 5-0 with an 84-48 triumph over visiting Alabama State on Nov. 27, head coach Donnie Jones gave his squad Sunday off. The team will reconvene on Monday morning at the UCF Practice Facility. The Knights will lift weights and then practice.

A large media contingent is expected to meet with Jones and several squad members after practice to talk about the contest with the Gators. The game, officially titled the Florida Citrus Sports Shootout, will serve as the first collegiate contest inside the new Amway Center. UCF has not played a game in downtown Orlando since 1990.

The Knights will practice again on campus Tuesday morning. The following day, the team will have its shootaround at the Amway Center. Tip-off for the game is 7 p.m. Tickets, which start at $15, are available at all Ticketmaster outlets and online at Ticketmaster.com.

UCF will not have much time to rest after meeting the Gators. On Saturday at 5 p.m., the Knights will host Southeastern Louisiana at the UCF Arena. Season tickets for the 2010-11 campaign are still available by calling (407) UCF-1000.
