ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - A double-double from senior D'Nay Daniels (Atlanta, Ga.) and 20 points from junior Aisha Patrick (Rockledge, Fla.) propelled the UCF women's basketball team to its second win in as many days as the Knights defeated Western Kentucky, 66-55, Saturday at the UCF Arena.

The 11-point win came in the second game of the UCF Thanksgiving Classic for the Knights (3-2), marking the first time since the 2002-03 season that UCF has won its first two home games of the season. The Knights opened their home schedule by handling Richmond by 26 on Friday afternoon.

Daniels set a season high in points with her 17 against the Lady Toppers (0-5), while matching her season high of 10 boards. The double-double was the first by a UCF player in 2010-11.

Despite averaging a double-double coming into the game, Patrick has yet to accomplish the feat this season. On Saturday afternoon, she finished just short again with nine rebounds. Her 20-point performance was a new season high and one-point shy of her career high.

For the second-straight game, the Knights never trailed in the contest. WKU tied it at 35-35 just over three minutes into the second half, but UCF regained the lead and never looked back as it moved to 3-2 on the season.

Senior Chelsie Wiley (Riviera Beach, Fla.) added 14 points in the win on 5-of-13 shooting from the floor. For the tenth time in her career, Wiley played all 40 minutes Saturday against the Lady Toppers.

UCF benefited from 14 points off turnovers in the game. The Knights had just six steals in the game, but WKU's defense finished with only two as UCF committed a season-low nine turnovers.

The Knights will now go back out on the road for two non-conference matchups with Savannah State on Tuesday, before heading to Florida International on Sunday, Dec. 5.

In the day's earlier matchup, Michigan State also won its second game of the weekend, taking down Richmond, 76-52. Richmond and Western Kentucky each finished the UCF Thanksgiving Classic winless, while the Spartans and Knights were both 2-0.

Season and single-game tickets for the 2010-11 women's basketball team are on sale now. Season tickets start at just $39. Fans can purchase tickets online or by calling (407) UCF-1000.
