TEAM NOTES
- UCF has clinched the C-USA East Division championship and home field for the C-USA Championship Game on Dec. 4. Tickets are on sale now for $30 at TicketMaster.com, UCFAthletics.com or by calling (407) 823-1000. UCF also hosted the game in 2005 and 2007, losing to Tulsa in 2005 and defeating the Golden Hurricane in 2007.
- UCF is 7-1 in C-USA play for the third time in six years as the Knights also were 7-1 in league play in both 2005 and 2007.
- With nine wins, UCF ties for the second-most in school history. UCF won 10 games in 1990 and 2007. The Knights also won nine games in 1987, 1993 and 1998.
- It is UCF's fifth road win of the year, establishing a school record. UCF won four road games in 1998 and 2007.
- UCF now has a touchdown pass of at least 40 yards in each of its last six games.
- With its last-minute touchdown, Memphis became the first team this year to top its season scoring average against UCF. Memphis averaged just 14.2 points per game coming into today's action and scored 17 on the Knights.
- Southern Miss is the only team to hold UCF scoreless for an entire quarter since the Kansas State game on Sept. 25. The Knights have tallied in 30 of their last 32 quarters, all except for the middle two against Southern Miss.
- Derrick Hallman's interception was UCF's 13th of the year but, remarkably, the first by a linebacker.
- UCF has now scored first in 11 of 12 games this year with the exception coming against NC State on Sept. 11.
- UCF has now won six-straight games over the Tigers, matching Marshall and Bethune-Cookman for the longest win streaks over a single opponent in school history. The Marshall and Bethune-Cookman streaks are both active as well.
- The Knights improve to 3-2 all-time at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium, a place that the Knights hope to return to on Dec. 31 as the league's champion.
- Game time temperature was 49 degrees today making it the coldest game that the Knights have played in since their last visit to the Liberty Bowl when it was 42 degrees at kickoff on Nov. 22, 2008.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Jeff Godfrey's first quarter rushing touchdown was his 10th of the year. It is two shy of Daunte Culpepper's school record for a quarterback of 12 set in 1998. The sum leads all freshman quarterbacks nationally.
- Godfrey recorded a 245.79 efficiency rating today (14-for-17 for 252 yards and two touchdowns). It is his third effort of at least 232 this fall. Entering today, only Godfrey, Andy Dalton (TCU), Cam Newton (Auburn) and Denard Robinson (Michigan) had as many as two games with at least a 232 rating nationally.
- Godfrey's updated season passing efficiency rating of 171.11 would have ranked third in the nation entering today's play behind Kellen Moore of Boise State and Cam Newton of Auburn.
- Bruce Miller's two sacks today give him 32 for his career to set a school record. The previous mark of 31.5 was held by Darrell Rudd (1981-84). It is also sixth place in the state of Florida's history, passing Miami's Kenny Holmes and UCF's Elton Patterson.
- Jamar Newsome went over 100 yards for the third time in the last four games. It is his first career two-touchdown game.
- Derrick Hallman now has exactly one interception in each of his four years at UCF.
