SAN ANTONIO, Texas (UCFAthletics.com) - Sophomore Carolin Pinegger (Marquartstein, Germany) was UCF's top shooter on Monday with a 74 as the Knights' women's golf team competed in the second round of play at the Alamo Invitational, hosted by UT-San Antonio at the par-72, 6,302-yard Briggs Ranch Golf Club.

Overall, UCF shot a 309 on the day, five strokes better than is opening round total on Sunday and good for a two-round score of 623. TCU leads the pack at 575, followed by Tulane at 581 and a tie for between Colorado and Texas A&M with 582.

Freshman Kaitlyn Price (Jacksonville Beach, Fla.) is UCF's top shooter through 36 holes with a 151, pairing a 76 on Monday with her team-best 75 on Sunday. Pinegger stands second amongst the Knights with her total of 154. Jordyn Hage (Winter Park, Fla.) jumped up to third on the team through 36 holes with 160. Senior Katie Detlefsen (Eagan, Minn.) has a 162 while freshman Isabelle Bachtiar (Karlestad, Sweden) rounds out UCF's golfers with a 170.

Play will continue on Tuesday in San Antonio with the final 18 holes of competition.
