ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's basketball team will travel to Harrisonburg, Va., to play in the Consolation Round of the Preseason Women's National Invitation Tournament. James Madison will serve as the host to three other teams, including the Knights, for four games over the course of the weekend. UCF will take on Iona in the first matchup of the weekend on Friday, Nov. 19 at 4:30 p.m., while James Madison will host Saint Francis (PA) in the second game at 7 p.m.
All four teams will play the following day with the winners of Friday's games meeting at 7 p.m. The 4:30 p.m. game on Saturday will feature the losers of Friday's contests.
The Knights head to Harrisonburg after falling to Florida, 77-67, in the opening round of the Preseason WNIT on Saturday in Gainesville.
Following the conclusion of the Preseason WNIT, UCF will return home to play in the UCF Thanksgiving Classic on Nov. 26 and 27. The Knights will open up the weekend of games at the UCF Arena against Richmond on Friday at 2:30 p.m., before taking on Western Kentucky Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Michigan State will round out the four teams participating.
