ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's soccer team will be hosting an NCAA Tournament Selection Show viewing party Monday at the MOAT Sports Grille at 4:30 p.m. The announcement of the 2010 NCAA Tournament bracket will air on ESPNU.
UCF looks to receive its first at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament's field of 48 teams after posting an 11-4-3 record this past season. The Knights have been to the NCAA Tournament on three previous occasions (2002-2004) after winning the A-Sun Conference Championship.
Twenty-two teams have already received automatic bids by winning their conference championships , while 26 teams will look to receive the remaining at-large bids.
The selection committee takes into account the latest RPI into account rather than the Top 25 Poll. The Knights finished the regular season No. 29 in the RPI.
