ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With the Knights' first campaign under new head coach Donnie Jones starting in less than two weeks, fans can now buy single-game tickets to watch the UCF men's basketball team play at the UCF Arena in 2010-11. Single-game tickets went on sale Monday morning at UCFAthletics.com and all Ticketmaster outlets.
Jones' team will play a school-record 17 contests at the UCF Arena this year. The Knights are slated to open the regular season on Nov. 12, hosting West Florida. Other key home games include a Nov. 18 showdown with cross-state rival USF, and Conference USA matchups against Marshall (Jan. 5), UAB (Jan. 29) and Memphis (Feb. 9).
Season tickets, which start at just $96 and include a free Knightmare t-shirt, are still available by calling (407) UCF-1000. UCF has already surpassed last year's season ticket sales numbers, and a limited number of seats located on the sidelines of the UCF Arena lower bowl remain.
Jones was named UCF's head coach in late March after three years at fellow C-USA school Marshall. His team boasts some of the top young talent in the conference, including sophomore forward Keith Clanton (Orlando, Fla.) and sophomore guard Marcus Jordan (Chicago, Ill.). Both players were named to the C-USA All-Freshman Team last season.
