Local Radio Show to Focus on UCF Basketball Friday Evening

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Fans wanting to learn more about the past, present and future of the UCF men's basketball program should tune in this Friday to listen to a special edition of "Talkin' Old School with Roger Franklin Williams" on ESPN 1080 in Orlando. The hour-long show, which begins at 6 p.m., includes an in-depth interview with UCF head coach Donnie Jones.

The program is part the Old School Legends Series presented by Del Frisco's and features a tribute to legendary UCF head coach Torchy Clark. A panel of former UCF players including Jim Flanagan, Russ Salerno, Mike Clark and Bo Clark appear on the show to reflect on the early days of the UCF men's basketball program.

Director of athletics Keith Tribble also makes an appearance on the program. Jones discusses the 2010-11 Knights and his goals for the future of the men's basketball program at UCF.

The radio show will also re-air on Nov. 12 on 740 The Game in Orlando, immediately following the broadcast of UCF's season-opener against West Florida at the UCF Arena.
