ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's basketball team today announced that the 2010-11 season-opener at Florida on Saturday, Nov. 13 is scheduled for a 4 p.m. tip-off. The game marks the Knights' first appearance in the Preseason Women's National Invitation Tournament in program history.
The delay in announcing the game time was due to the Florida football game scheduling its kickoff with South Carolina for 7:15 p.m.
Knight fans making the trip to Gainesville should be aware that free parking will be available in Garage 9 on Archer Road with other lots and garages limited due to the football game. Parking in Garage 9, as well as shuttle service to the Stephen C. O'Connell Center, is free for fans. Shuttle service will begin at 2 p.m. and run throughout the game.
