ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With the arrival of new head coach Donnie Jones, the 2010-11 men's basketball campaign at UCF is one of the most anticipated in school history. Fans can get their first glimpse of Jones' new-look Knights during UCF Basketball Postgame Madness, which is scheduled for Oct. 23 at the UCF Arena, following the UCF-Rice Homecoming football game.

The free, hour-long event, which will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the football game at Bright House Networks Stadium, will feature an inter-squad scrimmage that includes both the men's and women's teams, as well as the opportunity to select your season ticket location for the upcoming season.

Jones' Knights will play 17 games at the state-of-the-art UCF Arena this year, and season tickets start at just $96. UCF has already surpassed last year's season ticket sales numbers, and a limited number of seats located on the sidelines of the UCF Arena lower bowl remain.

Jones was named UCF's head coach in late March. His squad returns some of the top players in Conference USA, including junior guards A.J. Rompza (Chicago, Ill.) and Isaac Sosa (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico), sophomore forward Keith Clanton (Orlando, Fla.) and sophomore guard Marcus Jordan (Chicago, Ill.). Jones also attracted a highly-touted recruiting class to Orlando, highlighted by junior forward Dwight McCombs (Chicago, Ill.) and freshman guard/forward Isaiah Sykes (Detroit, Mich.).

Representatives from the UCF ticket sales office will be on hand for the select-a-seat portion of postgame madness. Fans interested in learning more about season-ticket options, including the arena's numerous premium seating sections, should head to the ticket sales tables in the front lobby of the arena.

After a short scrimmage, members of both the UCF men's and women's teams will sign autographs. Free schedule posters will be available at the event.

The men's team will open the season on Nov. 12, hosting West Florida. To order your season tickets today, call (407) UCF-1000 or visit UCFAthletics.com.
