ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Three members of the UCF men's tennis team will make the short drive across town to compete in the C.L. Varner Memorial Invitational in Winter Park this weekend. Play will commence on Friday and continue through Sunday.
Jacksonville, Florida A&M, Stetson and host Rollins are among the schools that will be competing in the event.
Junior Eugene Dolgovykh (Palm Coast, Fla.) and freshmen Erik Brunskog (Linkoping, Sweden) and Matthew Zachary (Bossier City, La.) will represent the Knights in the tournament.
Zachary and Dolgovykh look to continue their strong doubles play after winning their first match as partners at the Gator Invitational earlier this fall. Zachary also collected his first career singles victory in Gainesville, while Dolgovykh is undefeated in doubles play this season.
Brunskog will be seeking his first career victory in his first collegiate tournament.
