ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The Knights like their new look. On Wednesday, three members of the UCF men's basketball team unveiled the squad's new NIKE uniforms prior to the Knights' football contest with UAB at Bright House Networks Stadium.

Senior guard Taylor Young (Orlando, Fla.) wore the black road uniform, sophomore forward David Diakite (Washington, D.C.) donned the home white set and sophomore forward Keith Clanton (Orlando, Fla.) displayed the alternate gold uniform. The new threads received rave reviews from the Knights.

"The new uniforms are great," Young said. "They feel great, and they look really sharp. We are excited to wear them once the season begins next month."

The unveiling of the uniforms was part of a bevy of pregame activities that took place on IOA Plaza outside the stadium.

Young, Diakite, Clanton and their teammates will open the 2010-11 campaign on Nov. 12 against visiting West Florida at the UCF Arena. The Knights, who are entering their first year under new head coach Donnie Jones, will play 17 total games at home this season. Season tickets, which start at just $96 and include a free Knightmare t-shirt, are available by calling (407) UCF-1000 or by visiting UCFAthletics.com.
