ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After Spencer Scott scored the game winning goal over No.5 SMU Saturday night, the junior has been named the Bright House Student-Athlete of the Week.
Scott netted the game winner with a shot to the upper right corner. Scott's goal lifted the Knights to the win over a top 10 team for the first time in program history and the first win over SMU. Scott now has three goals this season.
Scott and the Knights will be home once again to host Florida International on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
