Frisell Competes in the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Tennis Championships

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. (UCFAthletics.com) - Senior Jenny Frisell (Gothenburg, Sweden) traveled to California this weekend to participate in the prestigious Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Tennis Championships. Earning a spot in the pre-qualifying singles bracket, Frisell got to step on the courts at the L.A. Tennis Center to represent the Knights among some of the best players in the country.

Ranked No. 106 in the nation in singles, Frisell took on UNLV's Aleksanda Josifoska however was unable to make it to the second round Saturday. Frisell will stay in Orlando for her next match, though, as next weekend the Knights will be hosting the first of two fall tournaments starting Friday, Oct. 8.
