UCF Invitational Draws in PDF Format
ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis team will conclude its fall schedule at home this weekend when the Knights host the UCF Invitational. The three-day event begins Friday and will conclude Sunday at the UCF Tennis Complex.
Admission is free each day.
UCF will be one of four teams in action at the event. Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern and Embry-Riddle will also be competing. The event will have two singles draws and two doubles draws. Play will being Friday at 8:30 a.m.
UCF junior Claudio Romano (Valencia, Venezuela) has the No. 2 seed in the top draw (Gold), and senior Blaze Schwartz has the No. 4 seed. Freshman Matthew Gladstone (Surfside, Fla.) has the top seed in the Black Draw. All three Knights will have opening round byes.
Schwartz and junior Joe Delinks (Falmouth, Mass.) are the No. 1 seed in the top doubles draw (Gold). The pair is ranked 52nd in the country. In the Black Draw, freshmen Erik Brunskog (Linkoping, Sweden) and Matthew Zachary (Bossier City, La.) have received the top seed. Both UCF duos will have first round byes.
The event is the fifth of the fall for the Knights. UCF will open the spring, dual-match campaign on Jan. 23, hosting Georgia State.
