ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAThletics.com) - Fans who aren't in the stands on time for UCF's 3:30 p.m. Homecoming football game on Saturday will miss out as some very exciting pregame festivities are planned for Community Heroes Day on what is expected to be a warm and sunny afternoon.

The pregame show starts, as usual, at 3:16 p.m. with the arrival of the Lipizzaner Stallion Pegasus followed by the Marching Knights' pregame show and national anthem.

The national anthem will be punctuated by a flyover as the 14th Flying Training Wing of Columbus Air Force Base will be providing two T-38's for the pregame flyover.

After the flyover, the game ball will be delivered in an unconventional manner, from above. A team of cadets from the United States Air Force Academy's famous Wings of Blue will parachute into Bright House Networks Stadium with the game ball.

Once the always-popular Zombie Nation song Kernkraft 400 gets one of America's largest student sections on its feet jumping, the Knights will make their entrance into Bright House Networks Stadium to take on the Rice Owls. The UCF-themed rock song "Knightmare" by local artists Remove Before Flight will lead the teams up to a 3:36 kickoff.

Halftime offers something to look forward to as well when the Knights will recognize four of the program's all-time greats, #1 Wayne Densch, #8 Daunte Culpepper, #19 Joe Burnett and #24 Kevin Smith, with banners honoring their numbers and names at the stadium.

There will be plenty to see around the game on Saturday where it is supposed to be sunny with highs in the mid 80s, so arrive early, wear gold, be loud and have a good time! If you do not all ready have your ticket for the fun, you can call (407) 823-1000, click on the ticket link above, or purchase one on Saturday at the stadium box office.
