ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's tennis team is traveling to Athens, Ga., this weekend to compete in the ITA Southeast Regionals, Oct. 22-25. The Knights will be playing against 15 other Division I schools.

Competition is set to begin Friday morning at 9 a.m, with the first round of doubles and the first two rounds of singles. Both the doubles and singles finals are scheduled for Monday at 11 a.m.

Senior Jenny Frisell made it to the Round of 16 at last year's ITA Regionals. Frisell defeated Allyn Mueller of USF in the first round and No. 108 Cameron Ellis of Georgia in the second round, before nearly upsetting No. 24 Noemie Scharle.

Frisell will also be pairing up with freshman Courtney Griffith for the doubles competition. Junior Taylor Dubins, sophomores Genevieve Lorbergs and Jenna Doerfler, and freshman Josephine Haraldson will be alongside Frisell and Griffith this weekend.
