UCF Announces Televised Games for Women's Basketball

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's basketball team has released its Conference USA television schedule for the upcoming 2010-11 season. The Knights will be featured on three televised broadcasts this winter, including two that will air nationally on ESPN2 and CBS College Sports. This will mark the fourth time in the last three years that UCF will appear on the ESPN family of networks.

The first televised contest for head coach Joi Williams and the Knights is against conference foe UAB on Jan. 13 at UCF Arena. The game can be seen on Bright House Sports Network with coverage beginning at 7 p.m.

On Jan. 16, UCF will head to Texas and a matchup with SMU. The game between the Knights and the Mustangs will reach a national audience with coverage beginning at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.

Five members of the Knights will play their final collegiate home game in front of another national audience as CBS College Sports will televise the March 3 matchup between the Knights and Memphis Tigers. Prior to the 7 p.m. tip-off, Chelsie Wiley (Riviera Beach, Fla.), D'Nay Daniels (Atlanta, Ga.), Angelica Mealing (Decatur, Ga.) Jelisa Caldwell (Macon, Ga.) and Leah Paige (Atlanta, Ga.) will be honored with Senior Day festivities.
