UCF Volleyball Set to Play Southern Miss, Tulane on the Road

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Following a pair of Conference USA victories over East Carolina last weekend, the UCF volleyball team is back in action Friday and Sunday as it is set to face Southern Miss and Tulane on the road. The Knights will take on the Golden Eagles Friday at 8 p.m. ET, before playing the Green Wave Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.

The Black and Gold enters the series with an even 9-9 overall record and is tied with Memphis for seventh place in league standings with a 2-4 C-USA clip.

Setter Rachel Vukson (Oakville, Ont.) has been a major role player both on and off of the court for UCF in her first season as a Knight, as she currently ranks sixth in C-USA standings and 73rd nationally in assists (10.16/set) and has guided the squad to a .215 overall attack percentage.

Both Southern Miss and Tulane trail the Knights in the conference rankings as they are in a three-way tie for ninth place with UAB with 1-5 league records. The Golden Eagles are 8-9 on the season, while the Green Wave holds a 4-14 overall mark.

UCF is 4-5 in the all-time series vs. Southern Miss, while it the Knights and Tulane are an even 7-7 when facing each other.
