East Lake Elementary Visit Photo Gallery
ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - On Wednesday morning, members of the UCF men's basketball team gave back to the community by visiting students at East Lake Elementary School in Orlando. All 17 members of the squad were in attendance.
The Knights visited third, fourth and fifth-grade classrooms. Team members offered words of encouragement to the students, and also discussed what it is like to be a college student-athlete.
UCF will begin official practices for the 2010-11 campaign on Oct. 15. The Knights are slated to open the season on Nov. 12, hosting West Florida at the UCF Arena.
