ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - An already action-packed pregame at Bright House Networks Stadium is now busier as the UCF men's basketball program will unveil its new NIKE uniforms Wednesday on IOA Plaza before the UCF-UAB football contest.
Select members of the squad will be on hand around 5 p.m. wearing the new uniforms.
Other pregame activities at IOA Plaza include the Hooters Hot Wing Challenge, pitting several UCF student groups against one another in a competitive eating contest, and a concert from Remove Before Flight, who will be performing their fan-favorite, UCF football-themed hit "Knightmare," along with songs from their self-titled studio release.
Between the two events, the UCF football team will be walking straight through the middle of IOA Plaza and into Bright House Networks Stadium at approximately 5:45 p.m. for a special edition of the Knight Walk. Fans can join the Marching Knights and the UCF spirit squad, as ESPN will be taping the team entering the stadium.
Kickoff for the Conference USA game against the Blazers is set for 8 p.m.
The men's basketball team, which is entering its first year under new head coach Donnie Jones, will open the campaign on Nov. 12, hosting West Florida. The Knights will play 17 games at the UCF Arena this season.
