CORAL GABLES, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Friday marked the beginning of the 2010 fall season for the UCF women's tennis team as it completed day one of the Miami Fall Invitational. However only three singles contests were completed due to rain.
UCF faced off with Miami in singles to start the morning, and the Hurricanes were able to pick up three victories in the first session. The Knights also were scheduled to face Michigan in doubles action only to have those matches washed out.
The Black and Gold will resume play at the three-day event Saturday when it faces Michigan in singles at 10 a.m. and South Florida in doubles at 1 p.m.
