ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Get to Bright House Networks Stadium early before the UCF-UAB game on Wednesday, Oct. 6, and catch Remove Before Flight in concert from 6-7 p.m. on IOA Plaza. The band will be performing their fan-favorite, UCF football-themed hit "Knightmare," along with songs from their self-titled studio release.

UCF will be attempting to establish a student attendance record at the game, and before the contest, UCF Athletics and the UCF Student Government Association will be staging a chicken wing eating contest, pitting several campus organizations against each other. All college students will be admitted free to the game.

All this excitement, and more, will occur prior to kickoff of the nationally-televised meeting between the Knights and Conference USA East Division rival UAB. The game, which will be broadcast on ESPN, is the C-USA opener for UCF and is critical in the team's quest for the 2010 C-USA Championship.

The game will serve as UCF Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night, with both groups receiving ticket specials to attend the game. Further ticket information will be distributed to the groups beginning next week.

UCF will also be welcoming all of its college neighbors in the area, with ticket specials available to faculty and staff to experience the excitement of a UCF football gameday. UCF Athletics will be reaching out to surrounding regional colleges including Valencia Community College, Seminole State College of Florida and Full Sail University.

Tickets for this key C-USA matchup and first-ever mid-week game on the University of Central Florida campus can still be purchased at UCFAthletics.com. Affordable mini-plans for the remainder of UCF's 2010 football campaign at Bright House Networks Stadium are currently available by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at 407-UCF-1000 or logging on to UCFAthletics.com.
