ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Before the Knights host NC State Saturday at Bright House Networks Stadium, fans will have the opportunity to meet one of the most famous UCF alums - American Idol finalist Michael Lynche. Lynche, who played defensive tackle for the Knights from 2001-02, will participate in a pregame autograph session prior the contest, and then sing the national anthem before kickoff.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. game can easily be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com, by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at 407-823-1000, or in-person at the box office window on the west side of Bright House Networks Stadium.
Starting at 6 p.m., Lynche will sign autographs for fans inside the stadium, near Gate 9 on the north end of the venue. Around 7:25 p.m., Lynche will take the field to sing the national anthem.
