ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - In October, some of the premier college coaches in the nation will be on the UCF campus to participate in a coaching clinic. UCF's Donnie Jones, a rising star in the coaching community, will be among the notable coaches instructing at the clinic.
From Oct. 1-3, the NIKE Championship Basketball Clinic will be held on campus. Coaches speaking at the event include Jim Boeheim of Syracuse, Billy Donovan of Florida, Jim Larranaga of George Mason, Brad Stevens of Butler and Seth Greenberg of Virginia Tech. Don Meyer, the winningest coach in college basketball history, is also slated to participate in the clinic.
Jones, who was named UCF's head coach in late March, is scheduled to give a presentation on the Knights' up-tempo style of play on Oct. 3 in the afternoon.
