ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF football team travels to Huntington, W.Va. on Oct. 13 to face Conference USA rival Marshall. Kickoff for the Wednesday night game is set for 8 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN. Marshall and UCF will continue the series with UCF holding a 5-0 lead since the two teams joined C-USA in 2005.

The Thundering Herd finished the 2009 season at 7-6 after a trip to the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl in Detroit. Defensively, the team looks ahead strongly with seven returning starters, including First Team All-CUSA selection Mario Harvey.

Offensive Player to Watch
An All-CUSA Freshman selection, wide receiver Antavious Wilson enters his second season after hauling in 60 catches for 724 yards and three touchdowns. Wilson leads a very deep receiving core that has had no problem getting the ball from senior quarterback Brian Anderson.

Defensive Player to Watch
Marshall returns two starters at linebacker, including senior Mario Harvey. Harvey recorded 117 tackles last year, 45 of them solo. Harvey hurried the quarterback ten times and recorded seven sacks.

Crucial Conference Victory
Last year, UCF mounted a remarkable comeback when Marshall traveled to Bright House Networks Stadium. Heading into the fourth quarter Marshall led 20-7. A two-yard touchdown run by Brynn Harvey got the Knights within one score. After Bruce Miller stripped Anderson late in the game with Josh Robinson recovering the fumble, a one-yard touchdown catch by Rocky Ross with 23 seconds left in the game gave UCF a thrilling 21-20 victory over the Thundering Herd. The win helped keep UCF on a roll which saw the Knights win their final six C-USA contests.
