ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After traveling to Dallas last weekend, the UCF women's tennis team returns home this weekend. The Knights are set to host Stetson Friday at 2 p.m. and FIU Saturday at 12 p.m. After battling Stetson and FIU at home the Knights will head to Daytona Beach to challenge Bethune-Cookman April 13.

During the FIU match on April 10 the UCF women's team will be hosting Campus Kids Day. Campus Kids Day is an event that is put on by the USTA at various college campuses across the nation. Kids are encouraged to bring their own racquets to compete in on-court contests to win UCF prizes. Admission is free.

Sophomore Taylor Dubins shined in last weekend's trip to Dallas when the Knights faced UTEP and SMU. Dubins collected two wins at the No. 6 singles spot, moving her to 13-9 on the season. Dubins paired up with fellow sophomore Andrea Yacaman and went 1-1 on the weekend at the No. 3 doubles position.

Stetson (17-5) is coming off a 6-1 win over Bethune-Cookman, its eighth- consecutive victory. Valentina Galbarini and Carolina De Los Santos are ranked No. 57 in the nation in doubles play. The duo has lost only five matches this season and is currently sitting on a three-match win streak.

No. 43 FIU holds an 11-7 record on the season. The Golden Panthers' most recent victory came over No. 66 Brown when they defeated the Bears, 4-3. Liset Brito, who is ranked No. 92 in the nation, has a 12-4 record at the No. 1 singles position.

Bethune-Cookman stands at 10-8 on the year with recent wins over Norfolk State and Hampton. The Wildcats had a nine-match win streak earlier in the season, but have lost four of their last five contests. The Knights hold an all-time record of 6-0 over the Wildcats.

The Knights will close out the regular season at home on April 17 hosting East Carolina at 10 a.m. before heading to the Conference USA Championship, April 22-25 in Tulsa, Okla.
