ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF rising sophomore Nicholas Robson (Auckland, New Zealand) was featured recently by TopDrawerSoccer.com as one of Conference's USA's top freshmen-turned-sophomores likely to continue their early success.
The article featured five players from around C-USA that had successful freshman campaigns in 2009. Written by ESNN, the article states, "Another great find from abroad, Robson arrived with his Auckland, New Zealand flair and became a vital part of the Knights' offense."
Starting in 15 of 16 games for UCF, Robson became more than just a vital part of the offense. The forward led the team with eight goals, six assists, 22 points and 47 shots.
Robson was recognized for his play in 2009 by being named to the C-USA All-Conference third team as well as the league's all-freshman squad.
