Detlefsen Named to 2010 C-USA Women's Golf All-Academic Team

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF Junior Katie Detlefsen (Eagan, Minn.) was named to the 2010 Conference USA Women's Golf All-Academic team for the second-consecutive year this week. Detlefsen is the lone Knight on the five-member squad.

Detlefsen carries a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average and graduated last summer in just two years, earning a bachelor's degree in Advertising/Public Relations. She is currently working on her master's degree in Mass Communication.

On the golf course, she has competed for UCF in all 10 of the team's events this year, and has placed two top-10 and one top-20 finish. She holds a 77.52 stroke average on the year.

The Knights will return to action on Sunday when they travel to Hattiesburg, Miss., for the 15th- annual C-USA Championship, April 18-20.
