UCF Women's Tennis Ready to Travel to Dallas

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With the four-match homestand completed, the UCF women's tennis team will travel to Texas this weekend. The Knights will take on UTEP Saturday at 10 a.m. ET and No. 28 SMU Sunday, also at 10 a.m. Both matches will be played in Dallas.

The Black and Gold will enter the weekend with a record of 9-4. Last week, sophomores Taylor Dubins and Andrea Yacaman have been on a roll lately, defeating Lauren Holton and Victoria Krook of UNF, 8-2 at the No. 3 doubles position. With this win the duo moved to 5-2 on the season.

UCF's trip will open up at a neutral-site with UTEP. The Miners stand at 8-10 on the season and will play SMU Friday before facing the Knights Saturday.

No. 28 SMU (19-3) is coming off a 7-0 victory over St. Mary's last Sunday. Marta Lesniak is currently No. 34 in the nation in singles. Meanwhile, Lesniak and Pavi Francis are No. 41 in doubles.

The Knights will be home for their final three matches of the season beginning April 9 when they host Stetson at 4 p.m.
