ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The 2010 UCF Football Spring Game is getting big-game treatment. As a result, prepare to see and hear plenty of pre-game publicity for the event, which is set for Saturday, April 17, at 1 p.m. at Bright House Networks Stadium.

Starting Monday, an advertising campaign for the game will begin in central Florida. Expect to see ads on tv, hear promotional reads on the radio and see information about the game all over the Internet.

Tickets for the game are just $5 and kids 17 and under are admitted free, as are UCF students with a valid school ID.

Bright House Sports Network will be airing ads for the spring game throughout the week. The game will also be highlighted during traffic and weather updates on WESH-2 and WKMG-6.

On the radio, UCF play-by-play voice Marc Daniels will be promoting the game on "The Beat of Sports" each morning on ESPN 1080. Clear Channel stations will also focus on the event during the week, as will Star 94.5. Real Radio 104.1 will have a presence at Bright House Networks Stadium during the game, and will be giving away tickets during the week.

Posters promoting the game have already been distributed to businesses in the UCF area, and faculty, staff and students will see rack cards on Central Florida Future newspaper stands on Monday on campus. On the web, the UCF sports marketing office plans to remind UCF fans about the game via e-mail blasts, Facebook, Twitter and UCFAthletics.com.

Prior to the game, prospective season ticket holders can tour Bright House Networks Stadium starting at 10 a.m. Following the game, the UCF Pigskin Barbecue and a fan day event will be held on the UCF Practice Fields next to the stadium.
