ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - During his introductory press conference last week, UCF men's basketball head coach Donnie Jones expressed his desire to connect with the Knights' growing fanbase on a personal level. Jones has recently launched a Twitter account - DJedge1 - giving UCF fans the chance to get insight on the Knights' right from the head coach.
Twitter is a free online social network that allows users to send and read updates called tweets. Tweets can be received on a user's cell phone via text or on the web.
Jones was introduced as UCF's new head coach last Tuesday.
The UCF ticket sales office is currently accepting season-ticket deposits for the 2010-11 campaign at (407) UCF-1000 or online at UCFAthletics.com. By placing their deposit now, fans will receive a free 2010-11 NIKE Knightmare t-shirt with their ticket purchase. Season tickets start at just $99.
