Orlando, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - It will be a very eventful ending to the spring season for the UCF women's soccer team as it is scheduled to host the Mexico National Team Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the UCF Soccer Complex. Admission will be $5 for adults while UCF students and kids 12 and under will be admitted for free.

Coming off a season in which they were ranked as high as No. 8 in the country and reached the NCAA Tournament for the 14th time, the Knights also will battle Auburn Saturday at 6 p.m. Other matches at the complex include Mexico vs. Auburn Friday at 7 p.m. and Mexico vs. Georgia Saturday at 8 p.m.

On March 2, Central Florida United Soccer Club was granted the honor of hosting the Mexico Women's Full National Team from April 6-11. While the squad is here in Orlando they will participate in the CFU Girl's Friendship Cup & College Showcase that will take place at UCF and at Central Winds Park in Winter Springs.

The event also will include a two-day soccer tournament and a community-wide charity event to benefit the people of Haiti. On Thursday at Central Winds Park, UCF and Mexico will join the CFU Soccer Club to prepare and package meals for the Change This World Organization to benefit the people of Haiti. The goal is to prepare approximately 100,000 meals, and the teams are asking for help from the community to accomplish its mission.
