UCF Women's Tennis Welcomes No. 64 UNF Wednesday

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's tennis team will conclude its five-game homestand this Wednesday hosting No. 64 UNF at 4 p.m. The Knights are off to their best start since the 1998-99 season with a 9-3 record.

Last week, junior Jenny Frisell and sophomore Alexis Rodriguez defeated Angelika Jogasuria and Prang Pantusart of Akron, 8-4 at the No. 1 doubles position. In singles, sophomore Taylor Dubins collected her 11th win of the season when she beat Jeremie Benjamin, 6-4, 6-0.

UNF is coming off a 7-0 victory over Mercer moving its record to 14-1 on the season. The Knights and the Ospreys have met eight times, with each team recording four wins. The last time these two teams faced was in the 2008-09 season and the Ospreys came out on top, 4-3.

The Knights are on the road for their next two matches facing UTEP April 3 and SMU April 4. UCF will be back home April 9 to host Stetson.
