An Eventful Week In Store for UCF Baseball

Orlando, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF baseball team has four home games this week and the Knights' Marketing Office has several events in store for Black and Gold fans. UCF will be hosting South Florida Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. before welcoming Presbyterian College to town this weekend.

Tuesday, March 16 vs. USF - 7:05 p.m. - Bright House Sports Network
-First 500 fans receive a free reusable UCF grocery bag.
-Pegasus will be on hand.
-Former UCF Knight Jim Horvath will throw out one of the first pitches. Horvath was the first UCF baseball player to turn pro, signing a contract with Ft. Lauderdale of the Florida State League and suited up for two seasons in the professional ranks in the late 70s.

Friday, March 19 vs. Presbyterian - 6:30 p.m.
-Negro League Legends will be on hand at the UCF Library to discuss their experiences barnstorming during the heyday of the Negro Leagues around 10:30 a.m. as part of the Pride & Passion African-American Baseball Experience. Bob "Peach Head" Mitchell and Harold Hair will be at the UCF baseball game and throw out the first pitch.

Saturday, March 20 vs. Presbyterian - 4 p.m.
-Pink at the Park, Susan G. Komen Awareness Game. First 250 fans will receive a free Armored in Pink T-Shirt.

Sunday, March 21 vs. Presbyterian - 1 p.m.
-Little League Day. Little leaguers in their uniform will be admitted free with a paying adult.
