? A.J. Rompza totaled three steals Thursday, and finished the year with 81. His total ranked fourth on the UCF single-season swipes register.
? The sophomore now ranks 10th in school history with 127 career steals.
? Rompza dished out five assists and finished the campaign with 144, which was the sixth-highest total in program history.
? On his way to 10 points, Isaac Sosa hit two treys versus the Miners. He made 73 3-pointers in 2009-10, good for 10th on the school's single-season list.
? Sosa also moved to 10th all-time at UCF with 130 career triples.
? For the first time in program history, UCF met a nationally-ranked squad in a conference-tournament setting. The Miners are ranked 21st in the latest ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll.
? UCF was appearing in the championship quarterfinals for the second time. The Knights previously appeared in the second round in 2006.
? The Knights and UTEP were meeting on a neutral court for the first time.
? The game was televised on CBS College Sports, marking UCF's 13th televised game of the year.
