ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Little league players looking to advance their skills will have several opportunities this summer with the Terry Rooney Baseball Camps at UCF. All three sessions will be held at the UCF baseball complex on the Knights' campus and will be open to players from kindergarten through eighth grade.
These day camps will take place June 28-July 2, July 12-16 and July 19-23. The morning session lasts from 9 a.m. to noon, while the full day includes lunch and runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The camps offer personal and group instruction in all phases of the game of baseball. The Terry Rooney Baseball Camps will provide proper instruction and drills to enhance the skill set of each camper. Individuals will be instructed in all facets of the game, highlighted by games that will be played to emphasize the techniques learned in daily instruction. The Little League Day Camps will provide a great foundation of the game for each individual, and campers will be grouped according to age and skill level.
