ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The 75th-ranked UCF men's tennis team continues the action this weekend as it travels to South Carolina. On Saturday the Knights will face off against Clemson at 2 p.m. at Hoke Sloan Tennis Center, and continue their weekend Sunday against Winthrop at 10 a.m.
The Knights (5-2) are coming off two-straight wins, including this past Sunday's win over Florida A&M. UCF swept FAMU in a 7-0 victory, in windy conditions.
No. 45 Clemson (10-0) heads into Saturday's match after a 7-0 win over the Navy this past weekend and a 6-1 victory over UNC Greensboro on Tuesday.
Sunday will be the continuation of the two-match weekend for the Knights as they compete against Winthrop (1-6) at 10 a.m. in Atlanta, Ga. This will be the second match of the weekend for the Eagles after playing Georgia State on Saturday.
Following the dual-match weekend, head coach Bobby Cashman's Knights will return home as they begin their five-match stretch at the UCF Tennis Complex against Princeton on March 15 at 2 p.m.
