- The Knights never led in the game and built a 10-point lead at the break. UCF managed to protect the lead in the second half despite scoring just 20 points and won 56-47.
- UCF improved its record to 4-7 all-time against Marshall, including 3-3 under head coach Joi Williams.
- Junior Chelsie Wiley led UCF in scoring for the fourth-straight game. She is averaging 19.3 points per game and has made 15-of-30 three-pointers during that stretch.
- She is now 53 points shy of becoming the program's 13th member of the 1,000-point club.
- With three triples, Wiley moved into sole possession of third place on UCF's all-time list. She has knocked down 115 career threes.
- Wiley also moved to tenth all-time in made free throws with 193 in her career. - Sophomore Aisha Patrick made her 42nd-straight start and has now started 50 of 51 career games.
- After going 10-straight games without scoring in double figures, Patrick has scored 10 or more in back-to-back games. She had 10 points and eight rebounds Thursday.
- Junior Emma Cannon moved into seventh place all-time on the school's scoring list. She has now totaled 1,065 points in her two-plus seasons as a Knight.
- Cannon is also now tied for eighth place all-time in blocks with 66.
- Junior D'Nay Daniels had 10 points and a career-high 13 rebounds, her second double-double of the season.
- Daniels helped the Knights outrebound Marshall 42-30.
- Angelica Mealing had six assists in the first half and finished with seven in the game. She now has 42 assists and just 18 turnovers in eight C-USA games.
- UCF won for the first time this season when scoring less than 70 points.
- The 47 points are the fewest allowed by a UCF team in a C-USA game in the Joi Williams' era.
