ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) -The UCF women's tennis team will hit the road this weekend to meet FAU after being rained out against No. 29 USF Wednesday. The match between the Knights and the Owls is set to begin at 1 p.m. Sunday (NOTE THE DATE CHANGE).

The Black and Gold is looking to improve its 5-1 record, its best start since the 2001-02 season. Junior Jenny Frisell entered the ITA singles ranking this past week at the No. 102 spot. Frisell holds a 2-1 record at the No. 1 singles position with her only loss occurring due to retirement from an injury.

The Knights and the Owls were originally scheduled to play Jan. 30, but were cancelled due to weather. The Owls are 2-5 on the season with wins over Bethune-Cookman and Michigan State.

UCF will return home to host Louisiana-Lafayette March 5 and Harvard March 6. Admission to the UCF Tennis Complex is free.
