ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - When the UCF men's basketball team hosts East Carolina Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the UCF Arena for the Knights' regular-season home finale, the Golden Knights Club will be celebrating its donors throughout the evening as part of this year's "GKC Recognition Knight." The Golden Knights Club is the official fundraising arm of UCF Athletics, supporting student-athlete scholarships.
Great seats are available for the game at a discounted rate of $8 for GKC donors. Current donors will have the opportunity to earn an additional five priority points be referring new members who sign up with the GKC at the game.
The GKC provides a way for individuals and organizations to help UCF student-athletes receive a quality education and competitive experience. UCF Athletics is responsible for the educational expenses (tuition, fees, room, board, books) of more than 500 student-athletes who receive scholarships to attend UCF and represent the university in intercollegiate competition.
To provide such important opportunities requires incredible commitment from a generous group of supporters. The GKC provides a unique opportunity for individuals to play a vital role in the growth and success of UCF Athletics. Supporters of UCF Athletics through the GKC are an integral part of an active and meaningful support structure that educates, houses, trains and coaches UCF student-athletes.
Growth of the GKC is one of the primary goals of UCF Athletics. Annual gifts to the GKC provide the immediately expendable funds necessary for UCF Athletics to continue developing a nationally competitive athletics program.
